Drishtee Foundation has undertaken to train 13,000 rural youth from BPL families under the SGSY (Special Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana). The project is being supported by Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and Department of Rural Development, Government of Bihar.The objective of the Special Projects for Skill Development is to ensure that Below Poverty Line (BPL) families move above the poverty line. This objective is achieved through time-bound training and capacity building leading to regular wage employment placement.

Courses Offered
The Drishtee's training consists of three major components

* Personality development
* Intensive vocational training on banking and accounting, electronics repairing, information and communication technology, medical nursing, retail, security, soft skills, courier and logistics, insurance, masonry, etc.
* On the job training

The trainees will undergo a one month long foundation course (personality development and computer operations training) in their respective centres. After the completion of the foundation course, an aptitude test will be conducted to understand their skills and appropriate vocational course will be imparted for a month.
