Parji speakers are concentrated in:
- Chhattisgarh - छत्तीसगढ (45,344 with 0.18 % of the state's population),
- Assam - असम (5,693),
- Odisha - ओडिशा (584),
- Andhra Pradesh - आंध्र प्रदेश (395) and
- West Bengal - पश्चिम बंगाल (151).
Among the districts in Chhattisgarh, Parji speakers are mainly concentrated in:
- Bastar - बस्तर (24,963),
- Dakshin Bastar Dantewada - दक्षिण बस्तर दंतेवाड़ा (20,351),
- Imphal West - इम्फाल पश्चिम (90.90 %) and
- Imphal East - इम्फाल पूर्व (85.19 %).
Apart from Chhattisgarh, Parji speakers are recorded in large numbers in Sonitpur - सोनितपुर (3,086), Udalguri - उदालगुड़ी (1,105), Tinsukia - तिनसुकिया (587), Golaghat - गोलाघाट (477) and Dibrugarh - डिब्रुगढ़ (315), in Odisha in Koraput - कोरापुट (583), in Andhra Pradesh in Visakhapatnam - विशाखापट्नम (379) and in West Bengal in Jalpaiguri - जलपाईगुड़ी (142).
