Outside Jammu and Kashmir, Tibetan is spoken significantly in Karnataka in Mysore - मैसूरू (12,813) and Uttara Kannada - उत्तर कन्नडा (10,573) and Chamarajanagar - चामराजनगरा (3,448) and in Himachal Pradesh in Kangra - कांगड़ा (12,178), Sirmaur - सिरमौर (2,234), Mandi - मण्डी (1,896), Kullu - कुल्लू (1,814), Shimla - शिमला (1,610), Lahul & Spiti - लाहुल और स्पिति (810) and Chamba - चम्बा (663); in Uttarakhand in Dehradun - देहरादून (9,899); in West Bengal in Darjiling - दार्जिलिंग (7,854) and Jalpaiguri - जलपाईगुड़ी (547); in Arunachal Pradesh in West Kameng - पश्चिमी कामेंग (1,382), Lohit - लोहित (917) and Changlang - चांगलांग (711); in NTC of Delhi in East District - पूर्व जिला (1,456) and South District - दक्षिण जिला (1,298); in Chhattisgarh in Surguja - सरगुजा (961); in Maharashtra in Gondiya - गोंदिया (728) and in Odisha in Gajapati - गजपति (539).
